The Ballpoint Case: Problems with the Factual Reconstruction in a Criminal Trial

Interviene Eveline Feteris, Universiteit van Amsterdam

Organizzato da: Dipartimento di Studi Giuridici

Abstract: In May 1991 a 53-year old woman is found dead in her house. Investigation by a pathologist shows that she has a Bic ballpoint pen inside her head, behind her eye. An accident? A murder case? The discovery of the woman is the introduction to one of the most interesting and complex criminal cases of recent years. The former husband and the son are under suspicion. Rumor has it that the son, during his school years, referred to the perfect murder more than once.
